Example of an Opening: Lil Wayne Sues Quincy Jones III!

Lil Wayne is suing Quincy Jones III for copyright infringement and creating a documentary in his words he labeled a "scandalous portrayal" of his life. He agreed to allow Quincy Jones III and his team to create the documentary but became upset when he was not allowed to see the final product which was shown at the Sundance Film Festival. The documentary showed him violating his parole and he believes that lead to his eventual incarceration.

You can read the details here, I don't want to go into them, that's not my purpose of addressing this. Let's focus on the ENERGY of Lil Wayne while he's in the mode of reaction. When someone is in the mode of reaction you can determine their weaknesses.

The only way to affect an individual is to make them self-conscious about their image. Now this mainly works on two types of people:

  • Those with a low self-esteem, or
  • Those who are negative and look around and say "is anybody going to say anything, am I accepted" when it seems like they are accepted at their low vibration they continue on.?

Entertainers who have the ENERGY of Lil Wayne have been officially accepted into the culture and have a stronghold that's hard to come against. Because of their stronghold, the only way to release that hold would be to come against their ENERGY with a series of opposite attacking ENERGIES that dismantle their sense of power and bring shame.

The problem is, an attacking ENERGY has to be created that reaches out and has a presence that's noticed by many. It has to have the strength of the ENERGY it seeks to attack through visibility.

The only way to attack the ENERGY of those like Lil Wayne in order to wake up spirits possessed by that ENERGY would be to create a visual depiction of him that reveals his ENERGY in a mocking, revealing way that takes the POWER away from it.

Powerlessness seeks strength, so when you bring something to a level of powerlessness it then seeks strength. This is why it's hard for those possessed by the culture to absorb, logic, education, life building skills and knowledge. When someone feels power in an action they stand strong in that action, they stand behind that action. When they don't feel power in an action they will hide that action or try to separate from it.

Over the years we continuously gave power to negativity, so negativity seems strong.

Now I understand most of ya'll aren't active soldiers. The Universe understands this too. Only certain people will be given that spirit. So let me end this by saying, you're only requirement is to help take away power from negativity in a spiritual way. No physical action is required. You don't have to write articles like I do, you don't have to protest in the streets, you don't have to lecture or preach to people.

But above all when spiritual warriors like myself stand up and make a determination to attack the ENERGIES that have the tribe in bondage, make sure you clear the path and spiritually allow them to do so.

I hope to be like Quincy Jones III in the near future, there are many skits I would like to create revolving around those who have the ENERGY of Lil Wayne and hopefully the community will allow them to develop an ENERGY that is makes them a strong force to be reckoned with and spread them amongst the tribe.

I can assure you Quincy Jones III took a lighter approach than I seek to take and quite frankly Lil Wayne's music is not needed.

(AP) ? Thousands of Protestants marched peacefully through the heart of Northern Ireland's capital Saturday amid a heavy security presence.

It was one of Belfast's biggest parades in years, and police were deployed in large numbers to prevent street clashes between marchers and Northern Ireland's Catholic minority.

Members of the various Protestant "loyal orders," so-called because they're loyal to Great Britain, trooped down Belfast's streets festooned with buttons, tassels and other ceremonial gear. The marchers banged drums and played music as they walked the six-mile (nine-kilometer) route from the capital's City Hall to Stormont, the seat of Northern Ireland's parliament.

Parade-goers carried the orange collarette, a small V-shaped sash worn around the neck. Many also came in the stern-looking dark sunglasses, black bowler caps and white gloves that have become synonymous with the marches.

At least two women chose a more relaxed uniform: Red-white-and-blue wigs and Union Jack dresses.

The loud and colorful marches date back to the 19th century, and are a longstanding irritant between Northern Ireland's two main religious communities. The loyal orders see them as expressions of their culture and a testament to their faith. Many Catholics see them as aggressive and anti-Irish, and the marches can devolve into street fights, particularly when they pass through heavily Catholic areas.

There were no immediate reports of any unrest, and marchers passed a potential flashpoint on the parade route ? St. Patrick's church near Belfast's city center ? without incident.

"They marched with dignity down the road," Father Michael Sheehan, the administrator of St Patrick's, said. "I think a degree of respect was shown that hasn't been shown before."

Nearly every aspect of the marches ? from the parade route to the music played ? is argued over and litigated by both sides, and a specially-created Parades Commission has been created to mediate between the two. The commission can, for example, re-route a parade around a potential flashpoint or demand that sectarian songs not be sung in certain areas.

The marches are steeped in Northern Ireland's messy history, and Saturday's parade, which had been expected to draw up to 30,000 people, is no different. The march finished at Stormont, with a cultural festival held to commemorate a 1912 proclamation against plans for home rule in Ireland.

Crowd estimates were not immediately available.

Forums - UN wants massive global taxes on everything

09-28-12 08:05 PM

Quote from Grandluxe:

EXCLUSIVE: As the UN opens its General Assembly session, it is already thinking up new global taxes
By George Russell
Published September 27, 2012
FoxNews.com

A 1 percent tax on billionaires around the world. A tax on all currency trading in the U.S. dollar, the euro, the Japanese yen and the British pound sterling. Another tiny tax on all financial transactions, including stock and bond trading, and trading in financial derivatives. New taxes on carbon emissions and on airline tickets. A royalty on all undersea mineral resources extracted more than 100 miles offshore of any nations territory.

These latest global tax proposals have received various forms of endorsement at U.N. meetings over the spring and summer, and will be entered into the record during the 67th U.N. General Assembly session, which began this week.

The United Nations is finding new and innovative ways to create global taxes that would transfer hundreds of billions, and even trillions, of dollars from the rich nations of the world especially the U.S. to poorer ones, in line with U.N.-directed economic, social and environmental development.

Libya leader to NBC: Film not behind consulate attack

In an NBC News exclusive, Libya's President Mohammed Magarief tells NBC's Ann Curry that no mastermind has been arrested in the attack on the US Consulate in Benghazi but that he believes it was a pre-planned act of terrorism involving elements of al-Qaida.

?

By NBC News staff

Updated at 7:59 a.m. ET: An anti-Islam film that sparked violent protests in many countries had?"nothing to do with" a?deadly attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi earlier this month, Libya's president told NBC News.

In an exclusive interview with NBC News'?Ann Curry, President Mohamed Magarief discounted claims that the attack was in response to a movie produced in California and available on YouTube. He noted that the assault happened on Sept. 11 and that the video had been available for months before that.

"Reaction should have been, if it was genuine, should have been six months earlier. So it was postponed until the 11th of September," he said. "They chose this date, 11th of September to carry a certain message."

NYT: Deadly Libya attack a major blow to CIA efforts

Magarief said there were no protesters at the site before the attack, which he noted came in two assaults, first with rocket-propelled grenades on the consulate, then with mortars at a safe house.

Khaled Abdullah / Reuters

Protests ignited by a controversial film that ridicules Islam's Prophet Muhammad spread throughout Muslim world.

The attack took the lives of Ambassador Chris Stevens, as well as information management officer Sean Smith and security personnel Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty.

US Ambassador Chris Stevens was 'courageous,' Obama says

Magarief told Curry that based on the accuracy of the assault, he believes the attackers must have had training and experience using the weapons.

"It's a pre-planned act of terrorism," he said, adding that the anti-Islam film had "nothing to do with this attack."

'A strong friend'
Magarief said that while Libyans appeared to be behind the attack that "these Libyans do not represent the Libyan people or Libyan population in any sense of the word."

Hilary Stevens, sister of Christopher Stevens, the U.S. Ambassador to Libya who died Tuesday during an attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi. In an interview with Rock Center Anchor Brian Williams, Stevens reflects on her brother's legacy and work.

He added: "We consider the United States as a friend, not only a friend, a strong friend, who stood with us in our moment of need."

More than 40 people have been questioned in connection with the incident,?the Libyan leader?told Curry.

He described Stevens as a "humble and very unique human being" and a "great friend of Libya."

Thousands of Libyans stormed the headquarters of an Islamist militia group in Benghazi Friday night in a deadly exchange. NBC's Ayman Mohyeldin reports.

Backlash: Protesting Libyans storm militant compound

The Obama administration initially maintained that the attacks were directly linked to protests over the film. Speaking on NBC?s ?Meet the Press? on Sept. 16, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice said: ?What happened in Benghazi was in fact initially a spontaneous reaction to what had just transpired hours before in Cairo, almost a copycat of the demonstrations against our facility in Cairo, prompted by the video.?

However, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney last week said it was "self-evident that what happened in Benghazi was a terrorist attack."

Slain ambassador's mom: 'He was trying to do something much bigger'

Speaking before the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday, President Barack Obama said: ?There are no words that excuse the killing of innocent? people.

On Tuesday, President Obama spoke to the United Nations general assembly in an emotional speech about the recent violence against Americans. NBC's Chuck Todd reports.

New US home sales edged down 0.3 percent in August

WASHINGTON (AP) ? Sales of new homes in the United States dipped slightly in August from July but the median price of homes sold during the month rose by a record amount.

New-home sales edged down to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 373,000 in August, a dip of 0.3 percent from July's revised rate of 374,000, the Commerce Department said Wednesday. That had been the fastest pace since April 2010 when government tax credits were boosting sales.

Sales in August were up 27.7 percent from the pace a year ago. But even with that gain, new-home sales remain well below the annual pace of 700,000 that economists consider healthy.

The median price of a new home jumped 11.2 percent in August to $256,900, the biggest one-month gain on record.

The median sales price was up 17 percent compared to August 2011. The $256,900 median price in August was the highest sales price since new homes sold for $262,600 in March 2007, a period when prices were coming down from the peaks reached during the housing boom.

By region of the country, sales rose by the most in the Northeast, climbing 20 percent. Sales were up 1.8 percent in the Midwest and 0.9 percent in the West. However, sales in the South, which accounts for nearly half of new home sales, dropped 4.9 percent.

Robert Kavcic, an economist at BMO Capital Markets, said the August report was "more evidence that a recovery in U.S. housing is taking root."

Kavcic said that the drop in sales in the South could have been influenced by disruptions from Hurricane Isaac in August.

The housing market has been making a modest but steady recovery, helped by the Federal Reserve's efforts to give the economy a boost through lower interest rates. The Fed earlier this month announced a third round of bond buying in an effort to stimulate the economy and attack unemployment which has been stuck above 8 percent since early 2009.

Sales of previously occupied homes jumped in August to the highest level since May 2010. Builder confidence is at a six-year high and construction of single-family homes rose last month to the fastest annual rate in more than two years. However, even with the gains, home sales and construction remain well below healthy levels.

On Tuesday, the Standard & Poor's/Case Shiller home price index showed home prices increased 1.2 percent in July compared to July 2011. That was the second straight year-over-year price gain after two years when prices had fallen every month compared to the same month in the previous year.

?Saturday Night Live?: Ann Romney rips GOP naysayers

?

?Saturday Night Live? this weekend ripped Mitt Romney on his taxes and?his 47 percent comment. But the NBC show also defended the Republican presidential candidate by letting his wife, Ann (Kate McKinnon), blast GOP naysayers on ?Weekend Update.?

?Do you really think this would be going better if you?d nominated someone else? Who? Rick Santorum?,? ?SNL? had Mrs. Romney saying. ?Do you think you missed the boat with Newt Gingrich? If you think I?m unrelatable, check out Callista Gingrich. She?s like a character from ?Mars Attacks.? ?

The ?SNL? Ann?Romney blasted Ron Paul as ?a lunatic who doesn?t?understand how voting works.? She said Rick Perry?s name three times, and?Perry (Bill Hader) showed up from under the desk. ?If this race was?so winnable, how come Jeb Bush, Chris Christie and Marco Rubio?decided not to?run???the candidate?s wife asked. ?

?SNL? took more swipes at Romney than Barack Obama. Blame bias if you like, but?Romney had given the writers a lot of material in the last week. ?Weekend Update? anchor Seth Meyers ridiculed Mitt Romney for paying a 14 percent tax rate ? ?just a little less than restaurants add on for a party of six or more.? How did?Romney?pay such a low rate? ?He claimed 47 percent of Americans as dependents,? Meyers said.

Meyers also weighed in on speculation that Romney applied a self-tanner before appearing on Spanish-language TV. ?Speculation? He looks like my dad?s recliner,? Meyers said.

As for Obama, Meyers?offered advice during the segment ?What Are You Doing?? Meyers wondered why Obama?said he couldn?t change Washington from the inside.

?Why are you saying anything during this Romney tailspin?? Meyers asked. ?Don?t do anything to take the focus off the Romney follies. Their campaign is getting crazier than the last season of ?Lost.? ?

The political jabs will draw most of the attention in the so-so show. Host Joseph Gordon-Levitt?opened by tearing off his clothes and dancing a salute to the movie ?Magic Mike.? He also played a nightclub hypnotist and the son of the Dos Equis pitchman, ?the most interesting man in the world.??In the zaniest bit, Gordon-Levitt was a girl whose parents sang her introduction to a date.

Jay Pharoah has emerged as the show?s most valuable player after two episodes this season. He is the new Obama, although he didn?t play the president this weekend. Rather, Pharoah was a very giddy Michael Strahan, who couldn?t believe it was work to host with Kelly Ripa. Pharoah was sports analyst Stephen A. Smith, who repeatedly blasted Tim Tebow. ?My hairline isn?t receding. It?s just trying to get away from my mouth,? Smith said.

?SNL? tried for some balance in the Romney and Obama jokes. But the show served a withering commercial about a tampon designed by the GOP.

Coming soon: Daniel Craig will?host the?Oct. 6 show, which can spoof the first presidential debate.

Paris' Louvre Museum unveils Islamic Art wing

PARIS (AP) ? The Louvre Museum is unveiling a new wing and galleries dedicated to the arts of Islam, culminating a nearly ?100 million ($130 million), decade-long project coming to fruition amid tensions between the Muslim world and the West.

The new dragonfly-shaped building marks the famed Paris museum's greatest development since its iconic glass pyramid constructed 20 years ago. The Department of Islamic Art will exhibit much of the Louvre's 18,000 works, hoping also to foster cultural understanding.

Mosaics from the Damascus mosque and a 15th-century Mamluk porch are among works spanning from 632 to 1800 A.D. Donors included Morocco's King Mohammed VI and Saudi Prince Waleed Bin Talal's foundation.

Louvre director Henri Loyrette says the galleries aim to showcase "the radiant face of a civilization."

The wing, with its mission of heightening cross-cultural understanding, is opening at a tense ? and perhaps opportune ? time.

France stepped up security Wednesday at its embassies across the Muslim world after a French satirical weekly published lewd caricatures of Islam's Prophet Muhammad. Charlie Hebdo, whose offices were firebombed last year, was brandishing its right to free speech. But the publication raised concerns that France could face violent protests like the ones targeting the United States over an amateur video produced in California ridiculing the prophet that have left at least 30 people dead.

French officials said the weekly was throwing "oil on the fire" and urged calm. France has western Europe's largest Muslim population.

In a sign of the political importance of the new Louvre exhibit, French President Francois Hollande attended an opening ceremony Tuesday, calling it a "political gesture in the service of respect for peace." The Saudi prince and the president of Azerbaijan, accompanied him.

Hollande criticized those who "destroy the values of Islam by resorting to violence and hate."

"The best weapons for fighting fanaticism that claims to be coming from Islam are found in Islam itself," he said. "What more beautiful message than that demonstrated here by these works."

The Louvre opened a department of Islamic art in 2003, under former President Jacques Chirac, who said he wanted to highlight the contributions of Muslim civilizations on Western culture. Chirac, who vigorously opposed the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq, constantly pushed for the idea of a "dialogue of cultures" to break down the misunderstandings between the West and the Muslim world.

But its gallery could initially display only a fraction of the thousands of pieces of art from the Muslim world, so it decided under Chirac on an ambitious expansion.

The museum opens to the public Saturday.

A novel blood thinner recently approved by the FDA, dabigatran (Pradaxa), has been rapidly adopted into clinical practice, yet thus far has had little impact on improving treatment rates for atrial fibrillation. This is according to a new study led by researchers from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health that examined national trends in oral anticoagulant use. They found that despite rapid adoption of dabigatran for the treatment of atrial fibrillation, a large proportion of patientstwo in fivedid not receive oral anticoagulant therapy. In addition, although the majority of dabigatran utilization was for its FDA-approved indication, atrial fibrillation, an increasing proportion of use was for off-label indications such as venous thromboembolism. The results are featured in the September 2012 issue of Circulation: Cardiovascular Quality and Outcomes.

"Dabigatran has been briskly adopted into clinical practice since its October 2010 Food and Drug Administration approval for the prevention of stroke among patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation," said G. Caleb Alexander, MD, MS, lead author of the study and a research scientist in the Bloomberg School's Department of Epidemiology. "Between 2007 and 2011, use of the oral anticoagulant warfarin declined from approximately 2.1 million quarterly physician visits to approximately 1.6 million visits while since its release, dabigatran use increased from 3.1 percent to 18.9 percent of physician visits where an oral anticoagulant was used."

Using data from the IMS National Disease and Therapeutic Index, a nationally representative audit of ambulatory providers, Alexander and colleagues quantified patterns of oral anticoagulant use among subjects between 2007 and 2011. Focusing on the oral anticoagulant drugs, dabigatran and warfarin, they examined treatment patterns by patient age, provider specialty and common indications for oral anticoagulation. Pharmacy expenditures for warfarin and dabigatran were quantified using a nationally representative audit of retail, mail order and long-term care pharmacies.

According to the National Institutes of Health, atrial fibrillation is the most common type of arrhythmia and, compared with their counterparts, patients with atrial fibrillation have an increased risk of stroke. Previous research has indicated the use of oral anticoagulants may reduce the risk of thromboembolic events like stroke by up to two-thirds and is especially vital in the prevention of such events among high-risk individuals.

The authors conclude that, "a better understanding of how these therapies are being applied in the real world is an important step in understanding their potential to ultimately improve care."

Fine Structure of the Iris Muscle in the Japanese Common Newt, Cynops pyrrhogaster, with Special Reference to Innervation : Cell Biology - BioStor

ZOOLOGICAL SCIENCE 5: 337-346 (1988) 1988 Zoological Society of Japan Fine Structure of the Iris Muscle in the Japanese Common Newt, Cynops pyrrhogaster, with Special Reference to Innervation MlTSUMASA OKAMOTO Department of Molecular Biology, Faculty of Science, Nagoya University, Nagoya 464, Japan ABSTRACT ? The localization and structure of the iridial muscles and associated nerves of the newt (Cynops pyrrhogaster) were examined by electron microscopy with some histochemical studies of catecholamine and acetylcholinesterase. The sphincter muscle, which was composed of pigmented smooth muscle cells, was located circumferentially in the pupillary margin of the iris. Sphincter muscle cells formed occasional close contacts with each other by protruding cellular processes. Numerous gap junctions and desmosomes were observed between anterior and posterior pigment epithelium of the iris, but not between muscle cells. Nerve endings formed varicosities and were composed of agranular vesicles and/or granular vesicles. There was no dilator muscle in this species. Prominent circumferential catecholamine fluorescence was observed in the pupillary margin. Acetyl- cholinesterase positive and negative muscle cells and nerve fibers were found within the sphincter muscle region. INTRODUCTION The iris sphincter and dilator muscles, known to be the iris muscle in the mammalian eye, change the size of the pupil and regulate the quantity of light. Studies on the iris muscles have been a fascinating subject from the standpoint of develop- ment and differentiation of the muscle, because these muscles are unique in that the sphincter muscle is the only vertebrate smooth muscle known to be derived from neuroectoderm [1-4] and the dilator muscle has myoepithelial charac- ters [1, 5-6]. They are innervated by an autonomic nervous system [7-10], which is advantageous, in that we can easily detect the action of nerves through miosis and mydriasis of the eye. In addition to morpholgical studies on the iris muscle [1-6, 11-13], numerous pharmacological and elec- trophysiological reports have been made on this nervous system using various kinds of animals [14- 20]. Studies on the fine structure of the iris muscle besides mammals have also been reported [21-24], Accepted September 24, 1987 Received August 7, 1987 but only a few works have been undertaken on amphibian species [25-27]. On the other hand, it has been well known that the newt has a capacity for regeneration from the mid-dorsal margin of the iris after having extir- pated an intrinsic lens. Numerous investigations at the light and electron microscopic level have been made on the process of lens regeneration (for review, see [28]). However, the iris muscle in the newt has so far received almost no attention in terms of the study of lens regeneration, although the sphincter muscle at the pupillary margin would appear to be closely relevant to lens regeneration. There have been no reports on the fine structure of the iris muscle of the Japanese common newt, Cynops pyrrhogaster and no histochemical works on amphibian iridial muscles and nerves. Thus, in the present study, detailed investigations on the fine structure of the iris muscle and some histo- chemical studies on the iridial muscles and associ- ated nerves were made in the adult Cynops pyrrhogaster. In addition, the present study also seeks to obtain basic information on the iris muscle, which presumably has some relevance to lens regeneration.

Street reaction to Charlie Hebdo cartoons muted, so far

A day after a French magazine posted cartoons of the prophet Muhammad, public reaction in the Muslim world has so far been relatively muted, with isolated protests taking place in Iran and Afghanistan. But French agencies remain on high alert in anticipation of larger protests tomorrow.

In Kabul, Afghanistan, several hundred people took to the street today to protest the cartoons published yesterday by French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo and the anti-Islam film "Innocence of Muslims," Agence France-Presse reports. According to AFP photographers in Kabul, a group of 300 students in a western neighborhood of the city chanted condemnations of the US and France. A second protest of hundreds gathered nearby, chanting "death to America."

Iran also saw modest protests against the cartoons. Reuters reports that about 100 students demonstrated in front of the French embassy in Tehran today shouting "Death to France, death to America," according to Iran's Fars news agency. Reuters notes that security forces remained in tight control of the event.

Many in the West worry that Charlie Hebdo's publication of the cartoons of Muhammad will only serve to stir further anger in the Muslim world, which has already seen protests against "Innocence of Muslims." The Monitor reported yesterday that the French government ordered enhanced security for its facilities abroad. France also announced that it will close its embassies, consulates, cultural centers, and schools in two dozen countries tomorrow. Friday is a day of prayer in most Muslim countries, and is when major protests tend to be held.

Muslim response to the cartoons in France has also been modest. The Jerusalem Post reports that the cartoons have been condemned by religious leaders within the country, though there have not yet been reports of violence directly connected to the cartoons.

During a news conference, Mufti Dalil Boubaqueur, rector of the Paris Mosque, described the publication of the cartoons as ?dangerous? and ?irresponsible.? The caricatures, he said, repeated ?the same stupid things, the same calumnies, the same ignominies. It seems me to be a psychotic syndrome.?

[Richard Prasquier, president of French Jewish umbrella-group CRIF,] denounced the cartoons on his group?s website.

?To publish such a cartoon today in ?the name of freedom? is a form of irresponsible arrogance,? he wrote.

Nevertheless, Marine Le Pen, leader of the far-rightwing National Front Party, defended the weekly?s right to publish the cartoons in the name of freedom of expression. She went on to say during an interview on the France 2 channel that for the government to step in would be ?anti-republican.?

The Jerusalem Post does note that soon after the cartoons' publication, an explosive was thrown into a Jewish kosher grocery on the outskirts of Paris, injuring one person. But BBC News reports that French officials say it is too soon to tell whether the incident had anything to do with the cartoons.

The BBC also writes that a little-known organization, the Syrian Freedom Association, lodged a legal complaint against Charlie Hebdo, accusing the magazine of "inciting hatred."

It accuses Charlie Hebdo of "throwing oil on the fire by disseminating a cartoon against the Prophet Muhammad".

While the complaint refers to "a" cartoon, there are several in the latest issue of the magazine.

Charlie Hebdo is accused of "publicly provoking discrimination, hatred or violence of an ethnic, racial or religious kind".

The BBC adds that the association "was registered earlier this year in France but appears to be little-known among Syrian expatriates."
